Mozart was a music composer*. He wrote symphony and operas.
Mozart was born on January the 27th, 1756. He died on the 5th of December, 1791 when he was only 35.
When he was young, Mozart lived in Salzburg, Austria and was raised by his father Leopold and his mother Anna Maria. His father was a court musician* and a violin teacher.

When he was only 5, Mozart wrote his first piece, Minuet and Trio in G major and he also played to a public audience for the first time at that age. One year later Mozart travelled with his older sister, Maria Anna, to play to the royal court in Vienna. From 1763 to 1766, Mozart’s father took him and his sister all around Europe to perform in concerts. In 1768, when he was 11, he wrote his first opera, ‘La Finte Simplice’.
Mozart then left his father and mother in Salzburg and went to travel around Europe again. In 1782, he married Constanze Weber. Together they stayed in Vienna, where Mozart had previously settled after his travels. Mozart continued to write compositions and operas there.
In 1786 and 1787, Mozart and Constanze travelled to Prague to see the premiers of two of his operas, ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and ‘Don Giovanni’. The same year, Beethoven, another musician, arrived in Vienna to study with Mozart.

From 1788-1790, Mozart had a struggle to sell tickets to his operas and concerts, but, after this, in 1891,Mozart wrote ‘The Magic Flute’, this was a huge success. He also started work on the requiem but sadly, he never completed it.
Wolfgang Mozart died of a fever not long after the success of ‘The Magic Flute’.

Mozart could write music before he could write words! He also could listen to a piece of music for the first time and write it out from memory with no mistakes!
